LANSING, Mich.—State Sen. Joe Hune responded to robocalls that have created confusion across the district in regard to Senate Bills 437 and 438. The legislation would update the current energy policy for the state of Michigan.
The current law, enacted in 2008, included language to have the policy reviewed before 2016. The calls, from an unknown organization not connected to Hune, automatically connect the person answering the phone to the senator’s office.
“I always welcome anyone who has a question or needs more information on an issue to contact my office” said Hune, R-Hamburg. “We are always happy to take calls from our constituents and answer any questions they might have.”
As always, please feel free to email Hune’s office at SenJHune@senate.michigan.gov or dial toll-free at 855-JOE-HUNE
