It’s Fowlerville Family Fair time!

It’s Fowlerville Family Fair time! I look forward to this great community event every year.

Established in 1886, this year, I am proud to announce that we celebrate the fair’s 125th anniversary. Activities are planned for Monday, July 25 through Saturday, July 30.

As a Fowlerville native, I practically grew up at the fair. Being an active 4-Her while I was in school, I know first-hand about all the incredible activities that take place during the fair.

Hundreds of women from across the county will flock to the fairgrounds on Monday, July 25 for “Ladies Day,” where they are invited to a free luncheon and the new “Homemaker of the Year” will be announced.

Carnival rides will be offered every day the fair is open, and there will be open class exhibits, games and vendors galore. My personal favorite is the corn dog booth!

Don’t forget to bring your wallets and generously participate in the “Large Animal Auction” on Friday and “Small Animal Auction” on Saturday, as both activities support our hard working 4-Hers.

I truly love the fair and plan to be there throughout the week. Don’t miss this opportunity to see all that the Fowlerville Agricultural Society and our fantastic community fair has to offer. I hope to see you there!
