I take my job in the Michigan Senate seriously, and that’s why with more than 800 votes in 2011, I didn’t miss a single one. In total, I represented residents of the 22nd Senate District by weighing in on all 832 votes cast last year.
Last year we were faced with many difficult decisions, and I felt it was my duty as an elected official to make sure my constituents were represented while we determined all those crucial choices. Looking ahead to 2012, we must continue to work together and commit to doing whatever it takes to help put Michigan back on the road to prosperity.
I want you to know that I’m working on behalf of the residents of Livingston, Shiawassee and southern Ingham counties every day. I am dedicated to my job as your elected official and will do everything I can to help turn things around in our great state.
I’m proud of my perfect voting record and consider it a true honor to represent my district in the Michigan Senate. Here’s to 2012 and continuing the critical work of improving Michigan’s economy and getting the state back on the right track.
Sen. Joe Hune represents the 22nd state Senate District, which includes Livingston and Shiawassee counties, and the southern part of Ingham County. The Ingham County portion includes Bunkerhill, Leslie, Stockbridge and Vevay townships, and the cities of Leslie and Mason.
