Sen. Hune given oath of office by Chief Justice Young

LANSING—State Sen. Joe Hune, R-Hamburg Twp., was sworn in during a ceremony at the state Capitol with Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert P. Young, Jr. administering the oath of office.

He was joined at the ceremony by his wife Marcia, mother Kim, father David, grandmother Betty, mother-in-law Susan Hagenbarth, and brother and sister-in-law Bryan and Brenna Hagenbarth.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as senator and appreciative of the trust that the good folks of the 22nd District have placed in me,” said Hune. “I will fight for them at every turn, and I am eager to get to work to help reinvent our state.”
