Workshop topics at the event include mental health/justice outreach, housing/homeless program and eligibility/benefits.
The “day of caring” will also feature a vendor fair with more than 15 local vendors, a free lunch and childcare for children three years of age and up with pre-registration. Prizes will be awarded throughout the day.

According to the association, the WSWV consists of women from all walks of life. Some members have served in the military; some have family members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country; and others are citizens who support and honor the country’s servicemen and women.
